I have a P226 Stainless Custom shop that resembles but pre-dated the equinox that I've considered letting go of but was having a hard time putting a price on, iirc it has 'made in Germany ' on the slide. It's a 9mm though.

For Sale….my P226 Equinox 9mm (E26R-9-EQ)..In box,with 2 magazines, beautiful laminated wood grips. I added a short reset trigger (SRT), a full size trigger (not the thin one that was installed) and a NDZ enhanced magazine floorplate. All of this for $1200 delivered to your FFL.I bought this as a trophy piece, it just sits in drawer, maybe someone will actually use it. Pics available, text me at 757-561-7414….

Dusty, don't know if you have looked recently, but the german models have come down a good bit in price. good prices on GB and GI.

I have a P226 Allround X5. This is an early manufactured gun. West German. 5 mags, no box or papers. Consevatively 95%....probably better. $1500.

I don’t see any there right now, but have had good luck with police trade-ins from sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore. Of course prices are higher now, but a few years ago found P226 trade-ins there for $400-$450 depending on condition. Half the fun for me is going through them, installing SRT kit & stoning sear/hammer, etc. The 40S&W usually go for less $ than a 9mm, but can be converted to 9mm with aftermarket barrel and appropriate spring. It’s an opportunity to fit yourself, a Barstow 9mm barrel and end up with a very good shooter. A factory 357sig barrel will drop in also.

I like those P226 & P229 pistols!
