Effect of Canada's Proposed Ban on Handgun Sales

"Assault" weapon will be first, but don't think your "sniper rifles", which includes hunting rifles and benchrest rifles. After all who really needs a dangerous weapon "capable of killing innocent people from several hundred yards away!"?

Effect of Canada's Proposed Ban on Handgun Sales

Upstanding people will have no options for new guns, for their own defense.

Violent criminals will generally still find a way to acquire the tools of their "trade."

Result? Easier time of it, for violent criminals, with fewer targeted victims capable of defending themselves. But then, that's about the "benefit" of dumping on everyone.

This isn't a hand gun ban totally. You can keep and still use the ones you have

JUST FOR NOW that is.
They can pass OIC and without any due democratic process ban the use of them any day.
Wait till next tragedy premeditated by govt or just allowed to happen and they’ll be taking them back and destroying them.
Anyone who thinks this is the end of restrictions is naive.

I just read on Yahoo that a woman in Brooklyn is suing Glock. Seems she was wounded in a subway shooting and the shooter was using a Glock 9mm. Next we will be suing the tire company because you had Goodyears on your car when you got in a wreck. Where will it end?

All that Biden/Harris and their gun control/confiscation folks can think of is banning or killing the guns. Yet a murderer, like the one, just convicted in Nevada for murder, gets a prison sentence of live, yet can be parolled in six years to return to the street and murder again. And like the ex-felon out on bond for a shooting, is found and arrested within 2 days, and already has in his possession another AR-15, so they feel another gun law will stop criminals like this from shooting/killing more. They sure have their heads up their read ends.

I believe that the worst things that are happening in our country are being pushed from a globalist/international movement. We just need to get in line with what the rest of the world thinks would be best for us.

There are plenty of folks in our country that admire or even worship the "One World Order" philosophy.

Our actual hard earned dollars, personal accumulated wealth, and future prosperity, is being distributed/squandered around the world as we watch--- and as we are distracted by the latest daily hysteria. jd
Well put "jds", the New World Order has alot of fans. The Clintons, Bush's,Soro,Zuckerburg and Obama just to name a few. If it were to happen folks like us would be assigned to a reeducation camp right quick. I`m not worried ,I`m a slooow learner. Jeff

I just got an e-mail from the Delaware State Sportsman`s Assn. showing a draft of the Dems proposed assault weapon ban. It lists 63 long guns and handguns. Little Kalifornia is following NJ,NY,PA and CA. Another point, did anyone hear that Phillie had 15 murders over the weekend? I guess that isn`t national news. Jeff

Oh I know this won't be the end and he will do anything he wants until he gets voted out.
I was just relaying the way it currently is.
I don't think the gun stores are going to have to worry about having many handguns left in stock though as there seems to be a buying frenzy where some stores are even closing the store front to keep up with the online and phone orders.

That’s more common than you think about Goodyear or tire companies being sued. They have tire engineers and all they do is analyze failed tires in support of an investigation.

Read up on the Firestone/Ford Explorer debacle. It cost Firestone one of their biggest customers, Ford. Firestone was the main supplier to us since the beginning of auto manufacturing. Henry Ford and Mr. Firestone, among others in the business, would go on camping trips together.

Very true. I had a fairly new Ford Ranger with Firestone tires that was recalled to replace the tires. While at the dealership I got my eye on a Ranger and drove it home. :) Shortest amount of time I ever owned a vehicle.
