I have only shot 1000 yard BR one time, last June at the Rendezvous Match. I have shot 600 yard BR regularly for the last few years, and three years ago, I took up short range BR.
They ALL have their challenges.

I hear all sorts of noise about this or that discipline being "the ultimate challenge".I’m vertically challenged.
So far, in my VERY limited experience, 100 yard BR is way tougher for me than 200.
Put them all on the same playing field...... 5 shots each target, 5 target agg and then you will start to hear the wailing! This one target and a shoot off is fine, but level it out and you will see the cream rise.
I have never been humbled up (with a rifle in my hand) as much as the half a dozen 100 yard group matches I have attended. Some of them ol" codgers can think on their feet!!! AND, they have all their "stuff" at hand to make the change.

i agree, THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT, AND HAVE THEIR OWN CHALLENGES.
