Rules for Sand in Rear Bags?

A friend has sand from his gold mine ,separated but may have tungsten and A small amount of Iron. It is heavy! BUT,that is what I question,A small amount of those metals will make it illegal to use in rear bag? Thankyou

You can fill them with lead shot, heavy sand, play sand, or bird seed, your call there is no weight limit on bags and no controlled classifications on fill material. Fill them with what suits you and go have fun. I don't recommend Black Powder or cemtex, however! :D
 
What discipline are we talking about? I'm not sure but it's possible some disciplines may have slightly different rules.

In F-Class here's the official rules which leave some room for interpretation with the only clearly firm rule being it must be dry fill and deformable. I've seen all kinds of actual fill however from sand to food products such as rice to plastic beads and more.
