I just use 10 gr of 2400 in my hornet w/34 gr dogtown bullet. It is a light load but shoots good at least out to 100 yards, that is all I ask of it. It (CZ) has accounted for a whole lot of starlings. My backyard to the corner is about 96 yards from my backporch. I recently shot w/ a buddy that had a 17HMR and I sot a LOT better than he did. The caliber is fine but (in my opinion) the ammo sucks. He was using hornady.I just picked up a 22 hornet and it’s fun to shoot. Only uses 13 gr of powder and the 40 gr Vmax bullets are also inexpensive compared to others.
Well I have plenty of lc brass ... for my ar..I would definitely use better brass for a tikkaI’d pickup a tikka t3x in 223 if I was in your shoes.
You can but you don’t have to. I use LC, Federal, PMC and some others and get great accuracy. Just tweak your load for the brass. I use some Lapua too, of course.Well I have plenty of lc brass ... for my ar..I would definitely use better brass for a tikka

Are the factory tikka stocks ok or do they need replacingI'm another one who is going to suggest 223. Tikka is a good choice or buy a nice action that accepts prefit barrels. Whatever you get, try to find something with a small firing pin.
52 grain match bullets are inexpensive and make life interesting when shooting at 300, or load 75 or 80 grain bullets and shoot further. Either way, they are fun and economical to shoot.
I cant answer for the synthetic stocks that seem to be on most but they do offer a laminate on some models. Are the factory tikka stocks ok or do they need replacing
There’s no “g” in Cummins.Go and fill up your hemi powered or Cummings turbo diesel powered pick up truck, hopefully you will have enough coin left to buy a burger!
