What happens when you & 17 of your neighbors plug in to recharge at night? That loud popping noise down the block right before the lights go out was yet another (made in China) transformer biting the dust. This hasn't been planned very well, if at all.

$200 a bbl? Wow! Sounds like time to drill baby drill, to me. Capitalism works until dictators get in the way.

If the anti petroleum fascists really were concerned about the environment, why did they fly to DC for earth day. Why does JB fly every weekend to Delaware. If the ocean is going rise, why did Obama buy ocean frontage. If wind/solar is the future, why does it need subsidies and tax breaks, and legislative mandates on utility providers to "invest profits". And my bills still go up, as will my taxes and fees. At this time the - only real alternative is nuclear power. That is if you buy into the "oil is destroying the earth" crowd in the first place. And the anti-nuclear crowd (along with the same crowd crying "wolf!" right now) doesn't want that either.

I have a suggestion though. Turn off ALL electric power for about a month to those that think that way......then they won't care WHERE it comes from as long as they have it.

I’ve currently got 3200 gallons of diesel on hand, when it runs out I’ll probably be selling everything including 2900 acres and moving if things don’t change soon. Im over fighting this crap, life’s hard enough surviving without having to deal with dumb ass politicIan’s trying to screw me every chance they get. With the cash I can raise selling all this stuff we can live like kings and I can fish every day somewhere after buying a 50’ boat and lots of beer… Screw all the thief’s running this turd hole country,

I wish those that want wind/solar power would all switch everything they have and use to that. Within one month, at the most, they would see that it will not handle their needs and would then want to return to fossil fuel and maybe shut up.

Ya gas buddy doesn't even give me updates anymore when prices go up. That's how bad it is. We were at 3.59 for a couple weeks. I had to slap myself for feeling like gas prices were real good at that price. Then yesterday stopped for fuel and it was 3.99-4.09 everywhere. WTF prices went up .50-.60 and no alert. I stopped getting alerts when the gas prices got above 3.39. Gas buddy must have figured out that people were deleting the app so why ruin their days anymore.
