Labradar External Battery holder

I tried to do a search on this. Not much success.
Does anyone in the states other than on EBAY, sell an External Battery Holder for the LABRADAR?

TIA

Try thingiverse.com and search for LabRadar. Lots of holders you can print out with a 3D printer. Nifty sight and RAT holder also.

Why the need for a battery holder? Just another item to keep track of that really provides no useful function.
If you use a magnetic cable between the LR and the battery, make sure the magnetic ends don't pick up any iron particles of dirt. The magnetic connector will still "grab" it's intended mate but will not provide any connectivity. This will cause you a headache trying to figure out why your LR will not fire up.

Agree with the general consensus. Velcro strips with adhesive backing is all you need. Any crafts section in big chain stores craft stores will have it

I either leave the battery on the bench (allows me to connect my phone/tablet to the same bank) or tape it to a tripod leg.
Has anyone heard of External power supplies putting out different voltage that would slowly fry the internal electronics of the radar? I saw this mentioned on another forum. Stating only use labradar external battery pack.

I do fine with it laying it on the bench, footprint is small. Gadgets, gadgets, gadgets. The radar is on a tripod beside me, battery on the bench.

Well, I suspect I saw the same thread you did. Not really sure I buy that. Labradar is not making their own packs (rebranded Chinese stuff, most likely), so will be just like any other battery bank. If it were different, it would need to have a warning not to run other devices off their bank to avoid liability for damage to that stuff.

I figured that was a ploy to get you to buy their brand. Size/ mah may be different but output should be the same.
