Seating gone crazy hard

Ok. Got wierd stuff happening ..
Same Brass ive shot in rifle ,Same projectile ,Same seating depth , Same fl bush die ,( wilson ) , Same size bush , Same annealing method , & projectiles have allways seated smooth ,& easy . .
Now all sudden i have Very hard seating pressure . .
Only thing ive done different is tumble brass Then anneal . Has this stuffed my brass. I usualy never tumble clean.
Neck all measure same as before after firing & After sizing .
Has me stumped .
Has All the brass just failed at same time .which is vey hard to believe

Zinc removed.

Edit/add. When the surface of the brass is cleaned for to long, the surface zinc is removed. Zinc acts as a lube. "Squeaky" clean brass produces more friction.

Google can find reloaders that forgot the tumbler was running. The pistol brass, when run thru a carbide die become much harder. They end up appling case lube to there 9mm brass.

And yes, a torch may burn off the surface zinc also.+

Zink has not been removed . .
Its adi brass fired only 5 times .
Annealed twice in that time . . Im now thinking annealing After tumbling wrecked it . As ive never tumbled them before

So should i just go back to cleaning without tumbling . Brass is buggered now so will be getting new batch
No...I’ve done it hundreds of times. Check your chamfer. I recently loaded some 7.62x39 blaster ammo. I thought, since it was blaster ammo, I’d just skip the chamfer step. The first 50 were hard as hell to seat so I chamfered the next 50. Night and day difference in seating pressure.

I will give that a go shortly . See how it goes
