Single Shot Follower?

I am thinking about a future 6BR project. Would this PTG follower work in a .308 bolt face Defiance Tenacity action to make it into a single shot for the 6BR? Thanks!

Just curious before this thread gets lost, has anyone done this with the Tenacity?

I did this with an Origin action. I used the Davidson follower. I called Zermatt and asked if their bottom of the reciever was the same as a Remington and they told me it was. The Davidson single shot follower was a little loose so no filing was necessary. It feeds great. Here is a link to the Davidson.

Good to go with PTG. Dusty has forgotten more about this than I would ever hope to learn.

The ptg follower fits into a bdl cutout so good it doesnt even need glue and it matches the bottom contour

That’s good to know. I assume that it rides on the magazine follower in a bdl setup?

Both the Sinclair and PTG are good ones. The Score Highs are intended to go on top of the factory spring and follower. -Al

With the Davidson or PTG units, I remove the mag box and the factory spring and follower. A piece of foam rubber holds the follower in place.

Drop the mag base (BDL), place the SS follower into the action and close the magbase with follower and spring, then seat the SS follower. GTG.
