Great people to deal with. Placed order for rimfire ammo Feb 26, after hours and package arrived March 1.

If you go to the webstore and the ammo you seek is not listed as being in stock there is no use "ordering it". If it is in stock put in your method if payment and it will be shipped promptly. This is a Mom and Pop store owned by regular everyday people and they are as good of people as you will ever meet - personally and business wise.

Kathy is the best. I recently sent a rifle to test in Mesa. Communication was spotty, but I know that guy is busy and he bested the timeline he gave me so I won’t complain. After my rifle was tested. The tester emailed me the results, I emailed back which lot I wanted. He emailed back that “I have submitted your order”. I responded that I wanted to order through GSI. I heard nothing back for a couple days.

I decided to call Good Shooting to ask. I asked her how she was doing? Blah, blah, blah. She said she’s been busy with all the test center orders. I told her I had just tested and emailed that wanted to use GS to order, but the tester never replied back. She said yeah it’ll be there tomorrow. I was confused. I said “wait, how do you know who I am I haven’t told you”. She said “I know who you are”. How do you want to pay?” I said “ But I haven’t got an email from you like the last two times”

She said “ I sent you two emails, one letting you know I had your order and one with a tracking number” I said, so what is my name? She said my name and location. I asked “but how do you know it’s me calling today? She said “Caller ID” which surprised me since I was on a work phone that isn’t in my name.

Anyway she shipped it out ( actually had the Capstone warehouse ship it) two days before I even contacted her to pay. I have ordered through them maybe three times, twice through the Marengo test center and the last order was over a year ago, but she remembered me (I assume) because I always tell her she’s Internet famous.
Luke Johnson told me she was a real good sillouhette shooter and we talked about it briefly before too.

I checked my spam folder after the phone call and sure enough the emails were there. Anyway that just blew my mind that she shipped the order out before I even made contact to pay. I got the Ammo today. That is top of the line service.917B6937-BE7B-49AE-8BC9-24B393E46E4A.jpeg

Oh, BTW she told me they just got a bunch of Lapua (CX and Midas+) in stock. I didn’t see it as in stock on the website yet. I assume they’re still processing it.

Before they posted on website, they will fill all backorders and test center orders. If they have any left, then they post it.

I'll agree with one of your statements, but the test center one is, or should be, wrong. Distributors are not receiving test center ammo. Test center orders are billed through the distributor of choice and should be shipped from Lapua central distribution......Capstone. I will venture a guess that the ammo received by Appalachian was shipped from Centralia, MO and not Good Shooting. Perhaps he'll clarify. Test center lots are supposed to be protected and only sold/shipped to verified test center customers.

Correct. GS never has possession of the test center Ammo. It ships directly from Capstone’s warehouse and the vendor, in my case Good Shooting, gets credit for the sale.

Appalachian,
Thank you for the quick response. Confirmation of why people should not believe everything they read on the internet, especially gun forums......Lol!

Yes he did.
No, you didn't make a mistake,
Gs has zero access to test center lots. No gunstore or company has access to test center lots other than the test center. They drop ship through your chosen distributor, distributor never actually has the ammo or sees it.

Not referring to test center lots..
