I have fired TacOps rifles and watched them FAIL.
So have I. The bolt lift on the one I shot kept getting harder and harder, the cocking piece galled against the bolt because it wasn't lubed. That's a maintenance error, IMO.

What marketing? Most on this site had never heard of them before.Obviously Tac Ops is very good at marketing, no doubt. The smith that was truing up Stolle actions was truing the threads, so to speak, on a manual lathe. Not real bright, and deserved to be shut down. There is a big difference between that vs reworking the ignition timing. The prior work is essentially calling out the manufacturer as putting out an inferior product. Just stupid in my opinion. Carry on! Lol.

Very unfortunate. That being said everyone else that has shot one seems to be satisfied. Including champion shooters like Mike M.Not only have I "seen" them before, I have fired TacOps rifles and watched them FAIL.
Common sense would say you have to be good at marketing to sell a Remington action based rifle for 5000 to 7000 dollars. Most here could care less about what is going on on Snipers Hide! What marketing? Most on this site had never heard of them before.
Show me a Tac Ops add. I'll wait.Common sense would say you have to be good at marketing to sell a Remington action based rifle for 5000 to 7000 dollars. Most here could care less about what is going on on Snipers Hide!

Seems like the easy thing to do, would be for someone in this thread who owns one, should go out and shoot a couple groups this weekend and shut everyone else up.
Or maybe borrow one from "The friend who owns one".
Posting someone else's groups has never been a good way to settle this kind of argument.
Or does no one in the last 20 or so pages of different threads actually own one?
I have no business relating to Tac Ops. I'm not even a customer yet.Marketing isn't limited to advertisements.
What is your relationship with TacOps?
Must have missed it.Did you read the post I made?
S**t! The abandon thread button isn't working!
The reason for R700's is because that's what most LE agencies want - their armorers are trained to work on that platform.Common sense would say you have to be good at marketing to sell a Remington action based rifle for 5000 to 7000 dollars. Nope, you didn't read my post. Go back and re-evaluate your attempt to call me out.Must have missed it.
Where did you post a recent target that was sub 1/4 MOA?
If the rifle can do it on demand, someone should be able to produce a target this weekend.
Let's work with the statement "YET"I have no business relating to Tac Ops. I'm not even a customer yet.
More than happy to admit being dumber than a box of rocks, but I am still not finding it. In a different thread?Nope, you didn't read my post. Go back and re-evaluate your attempt to call me out.
