Gas prices keep going up, we may be confined to shooting in the back yard. Not to mention bullet prices.

The 4 in the pic all shot 37. The newbie edged the others in the shoot-off. Gary center punched the $ shot. 3-4 shot 36. Really good optical conditions. Winds a little tougher than average. South switching to SE. Guys with deer rifles didn't fare so well .

I had a heck of a lot of fun shooting and introducing a friend to the game. The fact that he won was icing on the cake. We went and banged some steel, getting some preliminary dope for the balloon shoot after. I let him down at the very end, though. I dropped him off at 8pm, and we cracked open a celebratory beer. His wife asks "how much did you win?"... He was a deer in the headlights.

But they aren’t flying thru the air or rolling on the ground. Eight 60mm mini clays and two 1.5” stickers on a target board at 310 yards. 10 shots to break as many clays and hit as many dots as possible. No sighters. 4 target boards. 40 is perfect.

Hillbilly benchrest, if you will. Lots of fun. Some good shooters, but nobody takes themselves too seriously.
