Adding three benches and reworking berm. Everything will be ready for the East Texas Championship and the NBRSA 600 yd Texas Championship

More progress made last week. Layed the blocks and poured the concrete tops for the three new benches. Got the target backers up and more rock spread in the parking lot.

Got benches 13-15 poured and roof steel welded up.
May 21 match be here before we know it.

We would like to see new faces at this match. This isn't about shooting that tiny group where ever it may be, it's about a gun/ shooter and his discipline to make shots as consistent as they can. O yea reading or picking up a wind change is a must. So I hope I encouraged at least 1 more to come out and try. If any try make Friday and visit with shooters and check out there equipment.

Congratulations on getting that new range up and running! If I recall correctly, which is a big assumption, you were making inquiries about how to get a new range going just a couple of years ago. In any event, nice work and I hope you have a great turnout.

Tony, Mike has indeed done a great job of bringing a first class range online in the last two years. The range extends to 600 yards. Last year he had 12 benches in place and filled his East Texas Championship match. This year he has added three more benches and is looking for a good crowd to shoot the Clay pigeon match. It is a blast to shoot and you get a good meal included in your match fee.

Additionally this year we are holding an NBRSA registered 600 yard match there in June. We will shoot a two day match with both light and heavy guns. This will be a first for NBRSA 600 yard competition in Texas and we are really excited about bringing this to Texas.
