Is the velocity correct for the 35.0 of 4198?View attachment 1313719
Interesting new G2. It didn't miss a shot. Jim Clines 108's
This is the average of 4 shots after the 6 shown. (2 each hole) 100yds.
Poa is the orange 90° left & down from holes. Scope set too put them in the middle up & right.
Barrel heat makes them go up & R egg even more.
Looks like tune to me. Close, but not quite there. JMO...with the lt30. Pretty big steps in powder charge when you look to be very close, in between. Again, JMHO.View attachment 1313719

The thread is the difference of LT 30 & 4198 . Only one is marked 4198 .Gotcha,
It looked like 35.0 gr of 4198 has a higher velocity then 35.6 gr of 4198.
Maybe I need to find my glasses?

I started out back in 15 with 35.8 and then settled on 36.1 and still had a little room for more. I only had the first batch that came out Dec 2014 vintage. Is yours the same? I'm 3 of my rifles I was using 34.3, 34.5 and 34.5 of 4198 with the mouth of the south's 108's and I was avg 3095, 3100, and 3085 respectively. All 3 were Krieger's the 1st 2 17's the last an 18tw all about 23".@JimPag
Well the powder goes in with about an 8th to spare for the bullet. Seating isn't consistent due to the crush.
Takes more time to tap powder in and then seating bullet is place measure, tap measure, tap measure.
I deleted my post. It was a repeat of the one before.
