Midsouth Marksmen will be holding its first 3 x 1000 match this coming February 21 (Presidents Day) at the AEDC KD range Tullahoma TN, weather permitting. This match will be shot on E-Targets and participates are required to provide their own electronic device capable of signing in to Wi Fi device (Tablet/Smart Phone). Can you confirm the date, please. 21st is a Monday. There is a 3X600 as well? What's the date for that?

The date is correct, it a federal holiday, hence the reason we got the range from the AF/ANG. When I get additional dates from the Guard, I'll schedule/post those dates. So no 600 match dates at this time.

Not at the company I work for. At least, not anymore. They swapped it with MLK day a few years back BUT they give us a floating holiday. Problem is the floating holiday is treated like PTO so it has to be requested, 80% of our people have to be at work, etc. Ironically enough, this is the day the unvaccinated people are put on unpaid Leave of Absense, at which point they comply and get fully vaccinated by April 2 or April 3 you’re on the breadline. Interesting times we live in….

At any rate, if I can be there I will be.

Not at my company either. Could be worse, I’m going to make the drive from Detroit, MI to shoot with you TN guys. Not to mention I need to take the 21st and 22nd off work to compete.

I know this is past but are FTR rifles shooting .308 capable of recording on E Targets at 1000 yds? Mine is running at 1403 FPS at 1000. Just wondering.

Yes on various types of E targets. Long as you are supersonic at target.
1,400+ should be fine.
