My coyote territory.

Called three in last night , I was using a Wicked Coyote light on my 17 hornet, I shot nothing last night too many obstructions. However two hours prior to this post I called this one in at 5:45 pm, a 100 yard shot in the left side of his head and he was DRT, 20 plus inches of snow and below zero tonight they're on the move. Hope to get some redemption. In the last picture there's a little stump at about 8 O"clock that's where he stopped I was in my spare room nice and warm shooting out the window. My backyard encompasses 24000 acres. Squeaky vole was the call I used on my Icotec night stalker. Them coyotes love running the riverbanks.

Yuu save/sell the pelts? See people post killing yotes with 17 recently.
If they're decent prime , I always have takers, when they're rough like this one I give them away someone always takes them. In the warm months the buzzards, eagles , and other raptors clean them up quick, I sometimes take the heads and freeze them as those skulls are in demand .I've taken enough now with the 17 hornet to realize it's an effective coyote round with proper shot placement, I'm calling it a 300 yard round, though have not taken any past 150 yet.

It would cost me more in gas for the trip to the nearest fur taker than what they give around my place. So, I just leave'em.

Something really special about “balancing the natural equation!”
Good job!!!

That coyote in the pic sitting on the back of the ATV looks like it was snared.
Unless he tied a rope around it’s neck when he was dragging it behind 4 wheeler. That’s the way I would drag it out. Behind me and on a rope. I hate those nasty things but they sure are hard to call in around here. Everyone has educated them and we can’t hunt them at night.

Thank you, I use a dog leash, I don't like them near me after a fresh kill, the fleas have a way of finding you.

Produced this scrounge last night, dead chickens hanging just out of his reach some buried. 17 hornet through spine it exited on this side, blood spot. Coyotes are everywhere belly deep in snow. Aftermath and moment of impact the 17 blew a spray on snow at a staggering 65 yards. The shot was 65 yards , the blood spray was at the moment of impact, not 195 feet away as the moron B23 believes. That dude has a serious mental problem.

Bahahahahahaha! "dog leash" now that is some kind of funny. Don't you have to get pretty close to something when you put the dog leash on? Oh wait, maybe it was wearing a collar too. :) Dog leash, man I've heard it all now.

You can always tell when someone is lying by the way they over sell their retort.

Oh boy it's gettin deep now and just when you think you've heard it all and it can't get any better.

Now we have stories of blood spray 65 yards away and from a 17 Hornet no less. Y'all do realize 65 yards is 45 feet BEYONG the 50 yard line of a football field, right. 17 Hornet leaves blood spray 195 feet away, now that Sir is some seriously funny stuff.

Since it seems to be story time, I have a condo in Yuma Arizona that has a beautiful view of Boston Harbor MA for sale if anyone is interested. :)

Sorry you have dyslexia, any one that doesn't understands me perfectly definitely has some mental insufficiencies.

Oh yes, that must be it. Nice edit. Can't wait hardly wait for the next story, I'm sure it'll be a doozy.
