I just rehabbed an original (not a conversion) Remington 3 lever, 2 oz. trigger and the weight adjustment screw needed to be replaced. The original spring is .094 O.D., .068 I.D. and a wire diameter of .013.

McMaster-Carr has the spring you need in open stock length. Worked well. -Al

I just looked at it .....it comes 5 to a package 36 inches long each.......now I will have to buy a bunch of triggers to use up 15 feet of spring.....thanks AINyhus

Thanks Al
I may still take you up on that ..........pm me your address and I will send you the postage.......2 inches would be great
The pen worked but it was sloppy.....

I recently bought 6 benchrest guns( 4 )6 mm ppc and (2 )222 rem .244 neck from an oldtimer in my club he is 90 years old and had 42 bench guns most made by Bruce LaChapell .....Seeley Masker....and Norm
Dixon........ They were shot and eventually had new bbls put on and zerod then hung on racks......I have been spending the past 2 months cleaning 40 years of dirt and grime off of them the two 222 rifles are remington 40x and the 2 LaChepells 6 ppc are remington 40 x and the Norm Dixon are the cps actions........there is a lot of history behind those rifles and was really excited to buy them and have shot each .......for me taking the first shot with those rifles that had been collecting dust for all that time was so satisfying..........I have been shooting for almost 60 years and this is all new and exciting to me ...bad weather today so after shoveling snow I am turning brass.....
pm me your address Al and I will send you postage for the spring material ..great bunch of guys on this site that help each other I Like That !! .....I will post a pic once I have them all cleaned up
