She's a nurse. Twice jabbed because she thought it would protect her Mom that we lost in April to stroke. Hopefully just the Optimus Prime variant. Expecting heavy snow this weekend so at least she doesn't have to drive in the crap to work Monday. Love that girl, watching her close. This is her second go round. If I come out of this OK I think we can confirm natural immunity as we both had a heavy dose in early 2020. Prayers appreciated. Thanks.

My son just finished his second time. He got vaccinated after the first time which almost killed him, so this one was very mild. He was up and about in 3 days, his daughter in 2 days. First time got into his lungs. The vaccines do work, not to prevent, but to lessen the effects. He is a total athelete, no cigs or drugs, just a clean life.

We ( I ) had it before they had a name for it. Have a customer that spent 2019 December visiting his M.I.L in Wuhan China and was back in the shop Jan. 2020 to shoot at the range. He's deaf, right up at you to hear a damn thing. When I described this to my Dr. who might have been a little doubtful that I actually had it he said " Holy Crap, y'all got the full unadulterated dose!" I was plenty sick, but just thought it was flu or something.(remember Jan.2020 ) Anyway, not sick since (knock wood ), unjabbed and so far so good.
I also had it just prior to it actually being talked about. It came very close to taking me out. Was really sick for about 6 weeks. Went to the Dr. and he thought it was an infection. But as you said knock on wood have not been sick since Jan 2020.

At least Pfizer has admitted their vaccine does nothing to prevent Omicron infection/transmission. How they allow a claim to "reduce symptoms" as a vaccine is illogical.
But it does.
Seems as if none of the vaccines really are doing the job as it should. Some say it's no vaccine at all.
You should talk to my son and his family, 5 members, only 2 sick this time. Previous time saw all sick very badly.
Yeah, don't mean for this to end up as a locked thread guys. We are are all on the same page. Just wanted prayers for the hard working little woman. Nurses are a Godsend to us and God knows they have somewhat thankless jobs. My wife tested 3 folks at work while waiting on the results of her own test. Gloved up of course. But we are all gonna get it, just the way this works.

Just think the supreme court mandated that the people that were heroes thru the endemic before the jab was fast tracked now are required to get said jab. A big double barreled middle finger to the folks that helped us get thru the hard times

We had a local city official's daughter who caught something in Nov 2019 and died. She tested negative for the flu. Looking back, it couldn't have been anything other than C19.
