Greetings y’all,

New member here from Alabama. I’m a 1year old newbie when it comes to long range shooting. I’ve been to Barbour Creek here in Alabama a few times in the last year and fell in love with it. Thank you for allowing me to join and I hope to get to know new friends and I’m sure I will learn a lot.

Way down yonder on the Chattahooche. Pretty easy to slip behind enemy lines from PC. ;)

If you truly do pull for Bama then you are an unusual Tiger fan. Tiger fan jealousy over the Tide success has eaten most of them alive.
One of these days I want to take a trip to Barbour Creek. The places for stretching my 300 NMIMP and 338LM are few.

No longer live in LA, (Dixie, AL) but we do spend our winters in Destin, FL.

Is there any place in NW Florida or south Alabama that sell powder, primers and etc.? Looking for a place like Powder Valley, but that actually has stuff.

Is that the Dixie near Crawford, AL? To answer your question, I know no one around here has much of anything. There may be a few places around Montgomery that may have something tho.

Brock's Gap in Hoover AL shoots a monthly 500 yard match, and if you ever get all the way to LA (Lower Alabama), the Pascagoula Shooting Club shoots a monthly 600 / 1000 yard F-class and 600 / 1000 yard Benchrest match. No membership required to shoot in the matches.
