6mm BR Build - recommend stock options

Hey guys,

I’m looking to have a 6mm BR built and I’m trying to decide on the stock. The outfit building the rifle does a lot with Manners stocks. Which I love the look of (never held one) but good lord they’re expensive ($2250 up here in Canada).

Can anyone suggest another stock option that might be similar but a little more cost effective?

This rifle is getting pretty darn expensive.

Single shot
This begs the question if it's a bench rest paper puncher... single shot action??

I have a Wheeler LRB listed for sale in the Marketplace section. It’s been inletted for a Borden BRM. I

Be very careful in which stock you choose. If you are shooting from a bench, you do not want a stock designed for prone shooting, as most F Class stocks are designed for. Make sure you get a stock designed for benchrest shooting only.
Funny you say this, I went the other way and got a BR stock for F/class. I like the lower profile.

Read the rules. F/class stocks are not allowed In benchrest competition. It has to do with the way it is shaped. I do believe benchrest stocks are allowed in f/class though.
Pretty much the limiting factor in F/open for stocks is the 3" wide fore end. My stock is under that, so everything else is good to go. I just wanted a lower profile stock so I converted a RF/BR stock to a CF inlet and narrowed the fore end. Everything else is fine for F/open, for the most part.

I seen that stock, what’s the difference between Borden and Bat B 1.35 ?
