Sportsman’s Warehouse in Columbia SC has CCI small rifle and small pistol primers in stock. Several thousands. $85 rifle, $47 I think on pistol.

They also have a lot of Berger 77 gr OTM maybe a thousand or so. Three boxes of 6.5 140 gr SST

They're apparently selling, at that price.

On GunBroker, I've seen some for as high as the low- to mid-$200s ... selling.

Of course, those shops offering up, say, rifle primers at ~$50/1000 don't end up having them long. Same with 8lb jugs of many different brands of rifle powder. Most seem to be selling out instantaneously at shops for <$300/jug, but the same stuff's going for double (and occasionally triple) that on GunBroker. And selling.

I'm hoping to find one or two estate sales in my area, with primers and powders. It'd be nice to find something reasonably priced, again. We'll see. Keeping my eyes peeled.

I am picturing the folks working at brownells, natchezss, midway etc. being very perplexed right now.

- What? They are still selling right away at $150, that's insane! Bump it up to $175 and let's see what happens...

This combined with a betting pool to see where the insanity stops. Betty from accounting who everyone thought was crazy with her $225 / brick bet is starting to look like a genius

A lot of places are getting the same items with just a few days between them going oos and then reappearing on the shelves.

I'm almost hoping that's it and we aren't really going to have to pay .15 per br primer from now on.

Kinda strange that we were starting to see Varget, IMR 4064/4895, H335 & H4895 popping up for sale instead of just the Hodgdon US869 that seems to always be available (yes I know its .50bmg) but now not even that is showing up on some websites - even Hodgdon was selling Varget on their own website -- now its like the taps were turned off on Fri for the more common powders & we're back to the drought. Need to find that cargo container ship that came from Australia sitting out offshore of CA.

Well I will now eat a helping of crow today, because when I walked into my local sportsman's Warehouse I saw this list of powders that they had received in stock.
