That’s the default and what we shoot matches on. It measures widest point I think. It would only make a difference of 0.010, anyways.discussing 6BRA your screen shows 264 cal
Wondering how cfe223 will work in my 6 bra with 108’s? I noticed it’s a very fine grain,,,lots of powder to get to speeds? Anyone tried it in a bra and where did you start/ end up??with Peterson brasscfe 223 is very accurate and the velocity will surprise you
I'd have to go through my notes but I'd say start around 32 and go up. I went much higher but I don't want to post that load, work up carefully. Good parts hide pressure. I did push a 103 over 3200 with cfe223. I doubt that was at safe pressure. Keep it under 3100 and everything should live forever. Ball powder can get spikey in the heat so keep that in mindWondering how cfe223 will work in my 6 bra with 108’s? I noticed it’s a very fine grain,,,lots of powder to get to speeds? Anyone working with H322?
Fair enough..... I'll save the H322 for the 204 thenIt’s good with 55-70 grain bullets in my 0 freebore 12 Twist. It’s going to be too fast for heavier bullets.
What brass? No one ever lists the brass they are using, most lapua I imagine,,,Peterson holds less powder so it would be nice to state your brass,,thank you….carry onI have a couple of good loads which are all much a muchness when I do my part. Barrel is a 30" Krieger, 1:8 twist, parallel, .237 bore, 5R. 31.2gr of RL15 and Berger 105gr VLDs (10 thou jam) shoots very well - around 2980fps. 30gr of 4895 with Berger 108s (jumped 10 thou) also shoots very well, velocity around 2970fps.

Alpha holds less powder. I wonder what percentage of competitive shooters are having success with it?Lapua brass mate.
don't know about %.... Glenn shot 4 1K IBS records with that brass this past summer.Alpha holds less powder. I wonder what percentage of competitive shooters are having success with it?
Any updates on your N150 and 108s would be appreciated.I m running and testing N-150 in my BRA with great results.29” 5 grove barrel,108 Berger’s ,105 hybrids ,2880,2885 is a one hole node @ 30.6 and 30.4 grains .Still going up testing for next node and more speed .As always start low and work up each barrel is different
H4895 is showing up pretty regular now. You should be able to get some soon.Anybody try Win 748, I am getting down to my backup powders and crap I bought years ago on doing load development. I really like H4895, but I am down to 8lbs and I got a year of matches coming up.
I'm with you on that, according to the powder burn rate chart N135 It's about 3 powder slower than H4895 seems like it would be a good powder choice for the 105 class bullets.Anybody have any load data for n-135 in a BRA 8 twist barrel and 105 class bullets?
