Here's a Richard's micro fit with a few coats of dye to enhance the grain.Bc’z, yes the wood is raw. It’s Claro walnut from Richard‘s. My only experiences with finishing stocks is with Tru-Oil on one, and automotive finish on a couple fiberglass stocks. I did the Tru-Oil, the others by a local body shop. I very much appreciate your offering. I’m gonna need to invest many, many hours in this stock to get it ready for finishIng. I can keep you in mind and posted for sure. Thank you very much!

284Winner, thank you for your kind, and supportive words. I very much understand your feelings. It’s not easy in good times. Much harder now. I’m fortunate in a couple ways, great community, and we’ve earned their respect and trust. Some sheer luck, but also by virtue of unwavering devotion to the community. I won’t fib, last year and a half has been extremely hard. I’m sticking with my plan for retirement, and if all goes well, I’ll make it. Thank you for your long career and devotion to the jurisdiction in which you served! DirtySteve too.Very appreciative of you Sir. 1985-2019 LE career and proud to serve. Today, I'm not so sure. It's become very Thankless. I was treated fair and respected during my career. I'd be spit on and disrespected today. I'm so happy to have done it but also very happy to be retired from what's become a disgrace for the LE community. Thank you for your service to the LE community.
You've certainly seen change in the past 2 years. Retiring at the first of 2019, I fortunately missed it all. Certainly a good time to hang up the duty belt and vest. Although I'm not so sure the vest isn't a good way to go in many areas of the country. Good luck and thank you for your dedicated service. I would however recommend retirement at your earliest manageable date. I'm very glad I retired and am enjoying all of it. Be safe out there.
