Update: I received the barreled action back from Terry late this past week. He and I communicated frequently as he was working his meticulous magic on it. I am extremely impressed with the quality of his work, and the final product that I have received from him. I feel very fortunate to have received this gift from him, as well as gifts from others in this thread. I don’t recall this sort of kindness ever before in my lifetime. Truly exceptional, special, and very meaningful to me. To all those involved here, I am very very thankful, appreciative for what you have given me both in this rifle, and in the underlying support of myself and those in my profession. Hard to put into words, but this is significant. I will always remember these details when I enjoy this rifle whether punching paper, or hunting.
