Leaving inspection stickers and red zero stop caps on Nightforce scopes

I tossed the cap on my Nightforce cap. Wish I would’ve saved it. I frequently open the bolt and the brass flips up and hits the windage cap which in turn often leaves a small ding in the brass. Tried to order one and Nightforce said they no longer have them. Ended up putting several wraps of electrical tape on it.

This is their transportation. It stays on a trailer with the cover to preserve the resale.

There is a zipper on the back so they can get the rifles out.

Your not supposed to remove the big sticker off the butt stock of a new Savage rifles either.

Does NF put them on to record all the return for repairs ?

Key and Peele made the perfect video that describes this.

What in the world are people thinking? Do you leave the invoice stuck on the window of your vehicle for years as well?
OH MAN!
I thought that sticker was so the front from the rear of the scope!?
And the purpose of that red ZERO-STOP cover is to protect your manly NF scopes from certain sexually transmitted diseases and "accidental discharges".

I traded a SVSS ED 10-50x60 Sightron for a Nightforce comp 15-55x52 FCR-1 and it didn't have the extra knobs or the red zero stop cover. I tried to get the cover from Nightforce but they are discontinued now. They did send me the extra knobs free of charge. Awesome service from Nightforce! I put a wanted ad on here and finally found a red zero stop cover. It didn't make the scope work any better of course but I wanted it just because it was included in the original purchase of the scope and wanted everything that came with it. Stickers, red cap, tools, CD, extra knobs and the lens cleaner. I have 4 of these scopes because they are a great scope and if I decide to ever sale them I think having all the items that came with the scope will have a better resale value. I did take all the inspections Stickers off the scopes so they might not be as accurate anymore. Lol

Sometimes I put the caps on all three knobs.

It helps protects the scope from bumps, bruises, and wear.

This sounds like a question by someone who accidentally messed up their nightforce inspection sticker, and had to go ahead and peel it off. I’m sorry, man.
