Leaving inspection stickers and red zero stop caps on Nightforce scopes

I didn't know it was so easy to live rent free in other shooters heads.
Hell, I may even leave all the Carhart information tags on my britches from now on!

CW
Why would you want to tell people you are wearing knock-off, fake brand clothing? It's the oldest con in the brand rip-off game; change the real name slightly. So Carhartt becomes Carhart.

Wait....what? You're suppose to remove the NF inspection stickers? I suppose you're going to tell me to remove the Ferrari emblem from my Pontiac Fiero, my Tommy Hilfiger tag from my shoulder holsters, and pull my CCI .22 ammo back out of the Eley Tenex boxes and put them back in the CCI boxes??? C'mon man!

Key and Peele made the perfect video that describes this.

What in the world are people thinking? Do you leave the invoice stuck on the window of your vehicle for years as well?

When I have observed this behavior, I've purposely ignored it because I suspect I really don't want to know the reason. I've also noticed that no one ever leaves a plastic barrel cap on the muzzle of their rifle...at least, not more than once. Maybe Bartlein/Krieger/Brux/etc. should start selling bright red barrel caps with a larger-than-caliber hole cut in them so their customers could just leave them on the barrel while shooting. For the "leave the caps on" crowd, it'd make a bold statement and possibly become the new height in shooting fashion. Or not. ;)

I like the Red caps and Stickers on my NF scopes. I also leave the leather label on my Levi's. Just Me. My new NF Comps do not have a red caps, and seems to shoot the same.

I thought of this thread today and thought I would share it. I work for the transportation department at a school district and one of the kids pulled in with a pretty sharp looking truck, Black F150, tinted windows, black custom bumper, slightly lifted with a little bigger tires, not a spot on it, rims were black and spotless, tires freshly armor alled. One thing I haven’t seem before that reminded me of this thread was the blue dye left on the white letter tires. For those that have not seen it, tires with white letters are typically shipped with blue dye over the white letters, when they are mounted the stuff sprays right off with hot water, cold water you have to scrub like crazy to get it off. ORRR… He colored them with a blue marker to make them look like it, not sure which is more goofy.

I find that the red cap compliments my man bun and the inspection stickers accent my nipple rings. Both work well with my skinny jeans as I prance to the line with the mighty 6.5 Creedmoor.

Grist for the mill. Have at it. :)

I thought that was you I saw on the line...

its almost as stupid as the idiots that leave the yellow protectors on their dodge's
I work there and those actually serve a good purpose. Going up and down driveways and over high speed bumps, the front splitter will hit the pavement and get all scratched to hell.

I have never removed the inspection sticker on any of my NF scopes....
Why.......I never really thought about it until this popped up.
Am I going to go peel them all off now?
Nope...Sorry if that bothers anyone.
Sounds like some people just need something to complain about...LOL
