Bruno Shooters Supply

Has anyone bought from them before?? Are they reputable? Thanks
Over the years I have bought actions, barrels, and brass and other stuff from Bruno's. Never had an issue with any purchase.
Have to be patient with the shipping.

So you had a bad experience. Well, well, well. It happens. I have had a lot of what could be construed as bad experiences for some of the best companies in the business.

Instead of making public complaints, you might get better results if you made a phone call and voiced your complaint to a real person. Most companies do not want their customers feeling like they have been stung by a bee. They will either make it right or explain their reasoning.

I think it is in poor taste to broadcast these things, at least until you have made an effort to work things out. What I see here is the overwhelming comment praises Bruno's. Further if you don't like the price then don't buy it. Remember all things to do with firearms are in short supply and if the price is higher than normal and he has it when no one else does, he has to make a profit to stay in business.

I do a lot of business with Blue Collar Reloading. His supply has shrunk to the point I am afraid he will be forced out of business.

Wake up folks. What we do requires a host of products. If I have to pay more for reloading supplies, to continue shooting a few times a week, I will man up and pay the price. Are you going top stop shooting because primers are out of sight in pricing. Not me.
I agree talk to them first if you have a problem.

I have nothing bad to say about Brunos. It's like grocery
shopping. I stop at 3 places to get what I need. On another
note, I cleared out my bookmarks some time ago. Gone is
Brunos and Midway. Added Blue Collar Reloading.

Lester has had his share of bad press, some of it deserved, some not. I can’t really say that I have ever had a bad experience.

I have bought from them for years. Mainly because they usually have what I want. They are first and foremost business people, and they understand this market.

In my opinion, You can buy from them with confidence.

I hate that they keep sending me emails about powder in stock but no way to get ahold of them to buy any?? Other than that, no issues for other things I have bought.

I have bought from them and always gotten prompt responses to any questions. I would not hesitate to buy from them in the future.

Hi! I answer all emails almost instantly. Which email address are you using?
How's that for a fast answer. I've done business there since they started in Phoenix and before then when Bruno was in PA. Watched the family and the business grow. I always had the greatest of service and all my experiences have been positive. Great to see the grand kids taking a part. It's a family run business and it's well run!

They treated me good. I buying more supplies. This posts was to see how they were before I bought that’s all.

I have bought a lot from Bruno's and had no issues. In fact, just the opposite. I bought some powder from them, the last jug and was happy to snag it. My bank screwed up all my accounts and none of my cards would go through. They called me and emailed me several times and tried over several days before I got the issue resolved. I expect most places would have dropped me like a hot rock and sold the powder to someone but they were incredible.

If you're referring to me, I wasn't airing a public complaint, I was answering the poster's question.

As to "liking" the price, I purchased at a price willing to pay, but was charged an abnormally high Hazmat shipping fee which was not disclosed prior to checking out on their page--had I had known, I wouldn't have made the purchase.

This was years ago and maybe their storefront technology wasn't great. I don't know. All I can do is share MY experience. And as I had said, prior experience was fair and without complaint. And you can see how the response was years after the fact.

Its not as if I made a post disparaging them at the time, is it? Should only positive reviews be allowed? If so, then what was the point of the OP asking the question? I don't see why your feelings are so hurt with sharing my experience, but if it is a problem for you, maybe back away from the keyboard?

Only purchased from them a couple times. No issues, don’t remember a particularly slow wait time, HAZMAT was reasonable. Would buy from them with confidence. It also seems that they are a preferred source, with advertisements on this site. Like others have said, I will support locally or with companies that support my interest for a few extra $$$. Of course there is a limit to that figure, and that is up to the individual.

I live 20 miles from Kelbly’s and would always stop in Bruno’s tent at the Super Shoot. Bought a lot of powder, primers, and bullets from them. Yesterday I ordered 4 solvent bottles and a Redding 357 Mag sizer die. I cancelled it when I saw $17.00 for shipping.

my experience is that the online order form seems to default at times to $15/$17 shipping. I called about that while ago and was told they would only charge actual shipping. The last small item I ordered, the checkout process said $15.54 for shipping. When came time to ship and charge my CC - they charged me $3.22 for shipping. ymmv
