Plastic Case Ammunition

They are in our backyard, but I've not heard of them
Yes sir, Garland TX! After finding a fired casing recently at a local range, I started searching the internet and found their website. The low velocity variation claim caught my attention, and suspect it may be of interest to the 1000 yard, and over, shooters. The next question will be if the casings be reloaded;)?

Wow I've not heard of it either.
Interesting. One time use might make it costly. Or maybe Reloading equipment will be invented to redo sizes .

Wouldn't that be nice. I have no idea what the temp inside the chamber is, but the ammo is advertised as polymer. I also no nothing about the properties of it. In my opinion and it is just my opinion, based on absolutely no facts known to me, it won't spring back as you describe.

I did do a little research on the cases, and I was unable to find any mention of the ability to reload these cases. I think if it were possible, it would be a selling point and advertised as such.

From their website FAQ:

Is your composite ammunition reloadable?

No. True Velocity ammunition is not designed to be reloaded using commercially available reloading equipment. We do not recommend attempting to reload our cartridge cases.

70 bucks for 20rds. No limit if you are so inclined.

Wasted a year at a company called "Polycase" and now called Inceptor. They originated polymer case ammunition (pistol ammo) and it flopped. They then began making a projectile with a cintered copper and polymer mix that has also gone nowhere.

Years ago Wanda made plastic shotgun shells. They are now defunct. They never went over. A friend of mine gave me a box of them because they were coming apart when he shot them. They apparently didn't age well. No I don't shoot them. They're just sort of a blast from the past.
I can't imagine metallic ammo utilizing plastic even for the military which can afford a lot of gay stuff.

I remember a guy showing me some “experimental” plastic case ammo back in the ‘70s. They were triangular in shape with rounded corners. I think it’s been tried many times since they invented plastic.
“70 bucks for 20 rounds”??? Seems perfectly focused for our Guberment buyers!
