Helping a friend identify some of his grand dads old stuff and ran across a mystery stock in a box that I can’t identify , any help would be appreciated .

Helping a friend identify some of his grand dads old stuff and ran across a mystery stock in a box that I can’t identify , any help would be appreciated .

Looks like a stock for an 1860 Colt Army Revolver. The Army Model and replicas there of have relieved areas above the grips that the ears latch into and the thumb screw latch locks the stock onto the grip frame.

Originals worth some money, repops not so much.
