No Go gauges for Primer Pocket diameter?

In fairness, AR bolt heads are as easy to change as a light bulb.
The posting at ar15.com was about loose primer pockets and brands of brass. The main topic was Federal brass and how fast the primer pockets became loose.

Below the flash hole web thickness and brass hardness plays a big part in how long the primer pocket lasts. I was finding factory loaded Federal cases with oversize primer pockets after the first firing. This was when I ordered the gauges mentioned here and pin gauges.

Lake City brass and Lapua brass are the top two hardest cases made.

For some closure on this thread, I got a set of these. Should have done it long ago. Thanks to all

You get more with a semi-auto AR15 and a 30 round mag.

The photo above was from ar15.com and the poster said he didn't worry about loose primer pockets. And he would just replace the bolt if it got bad enough.
Buffoon... "Boolits" came out of the hole in the end of "the pipe" and somewhere other than right back at him, so all was good... I'm not "just saying"...

What kind of shooting requires this tool?
I use it on my FTR .223 brass. If the no-go starts into the pocket about 1\4 of the gauge or more, I toss it.

If you repeatedly shoot full power loads, especially in 223 cases, you should use this. If you're shooting sane loads in Lake City brass, and lose or toss the brass before 4 or 5 firings you probably don't need it.

High-power shooters push 223 brass to the limit. Most are shooting loads well above anything in a manual. Three or four reloads on match ammo and tossing the brass is common. The amu guys and gals fire lapua brass exactly one time with the primer crimped into the case for a reason. These ballistic gauge tools work great. You get a feel for them.

How does that relate to the post that was quoted?
