Ever driven through coal country, like SW Virginia? There's not a lot of mining happening, it's not 'clean' enough. Unions need working people to pay for the people drawing on union pensions ... and union boss salaries. They also need more income so they can make democrat campaign donations.

Remington is destined to fail, democrats were "elected" promising to allow gun manufacturers to be sued by victims. And so far Joe has kept all of Bernies promises.

Kinda funny how all the people said that buying a Remington was just throwing your money away.... except now you could sell an action for double no problem.
The only bad thing about Remington is the great job they have done keeping prices down across the board for all of us consumers. Of course, that might officially be at an end...

My entire online store was set up around building rifles from cheap and available Remington actions.... talk about the mother of all backfires!!!
I for one am not surprised they will return. I bet they go up in price. But we will see... I am looking forward to getting some actions myself!
Eons ago, the hourly staff were represented by (essentially) a homegrown union. But with Remington been sold several times since I left, there’s no wonder itbchanged.
As for odd Union setups, the oddest I’ve heard of was a dairy plant being repped by the Teamsters...Jimmy Hoffa hisself was on the cover of the Union rag every issue...
