Norma 130gr Golden Target Bullets

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had experience with the Normal 130gr Golden target bullets in a 6.5 Creedmoor? Looking for some feedback, and maybe a load that is working for someone. Any info is appreciated!

They shoot good, that was the bullet that was used in the original 6.5 Creed ammo loaded by PRIME ammo Co. I have shot lots of them in that ammo and the shoot great. I have 2 500 boxes of the 130's but haven't worked up a load for them yet. The BC is about .583, that was working for me out past 1000yds.

The BC has been questioned since the original batch was released, it was higher than expected and then tested lower. I'd have to check my notes but that higher end .583 - .585 BC sounds about right.

I've used these bullets in several cartridges over the last many years including the 6.5x47 Lapua, 6.5 PRC and most recently the 26 Nosler. The 6.5 PRC was a competition rifle based on a shorter barrel (21") used with a suppressor for a steel shoot 300yards to 1,200 yards. It is probably the most used bullet in my Creedmoor loads. The only drawback is the spotty availability.

They are currently my choice for 6.5 Creedmoor. I agree about spotty availability and that was before the great shortage of 2020
