Had a really good day today!

Today, I became the proud new owner of a 2009 Toyota Camry with 212,000 + miles on it. Pictured below!

Now I know that most of you are thinking "So what" right? However, this beater work car was different.
I am a single parent of three daughter ranging from 11 to 20 yrs old. I am an active duty Marine trying to make an already hard life style work. Im sure you know that I am not a rich guy! Please dont misunderstand, I do okay, but I do not have money to just through around, especially with three daughter!
My sixteen yr old just got her license and as a normal kid would be chomping at the bite to get her hands on her first car. Now you have to take in to account what these kids have been through over the past 10ish years.
Her mother is a victim of a very horrible disease that is called Alcoholism. She also sufferers from a few mental disorders that did not help anything. It has been a very rough road for them. Please take me out of your thoughts, I'm fine, its all about them!

Thanks to an awesome neighbor and some good budgeting, I was able to make her dreams come true! This has been the kid that has stepped up, continued to get great grades and always has a great attitude. How could I fail her?
I am very proud of her and the young woman she has become! If you look close, you can see her in the drivers seat beaming from ear to ear!

Thanks for listening, had to share with someone!
P.S. Thanks to Chris and Sarah Howard of Hubert NC for helping make this happen!
P.S.S. Thank you Lord for your holy grace! Today your light shined upon me!

I have a 2003 Toyota Camry. All repairs so far in 18 years and 97,800 miles:

Replaced Water Pump 2019
Replaced Serpentine Belt 2018
Two low-beam bulbs, one turn signal bulb, one taillight bulb.

Nothing else other than oil, tires, brake pads, windshield wipers. The Factory battery lasted 13 years!

excellent!

I'm a huge Toyota fan, 90k on my tacoma with nothing but preventative maintenance. Bought it after my gp100 finally died at 327k. 300k on my wifes yaris with nothing but preventative maintenance and it's gone through 2 ac blower fans. (312$ for the dealership to fix)
But being my wifes car (max ac almost always) in Phoenix, I'll accept that.

I'm trying to grow the stones to stomach an 87k$ land cruiser heritage before they're discontinued this year. We shall see.

Great job Dad for working hard and raising three kids (boys or girls) raising kids is not an easy task.

As a dad my self I thank you for not bailing out on them. I am sure they see your hard work and will continue to make you proud.

I do see her smile ear to ear. She is happy.

If you don't mind pm me your email I want to send something to you (for your daughter)
