What annealing machines are you all using ?

AMP MK II. The machine that can do it all. Name another machine that can analyze your brass and anneal it perfectly every time. The Kurt Henning of annealing machines.
I agree,, that this annealer, Technically, is a better annealer. But, to make it perfect, you would have to spend another $3500.00 to automate it, and add a hopper. I shoot a lot of AR-15/AR-10 bullets and this would defiantly, not work in my reloading environment. I looked at this unit before I bought my Annealeez and that was the final reasons, why, I bought the Annealeez. The super big savings in $$$ was just an extra bonus.

Started with a torch.
Bought a Giraud.
Now I am using an AMP with an AMP Mate.

Very happy now.

Now,,, That is the KING of the Annealing World hands down on a technical view. Congratulations. JMHO & 2C.

I love my amp it is great very fast and easy even loading them one at a time my reloading volume does not justify the automated case feeder
I just ordered the AMP Mate unit. I did not go for the full blown set up with the Dillon case feeder.

I argued with myself for a long time before I lost, to myself, and ordered one...
I figured when you are as far down the "rabbit hole" as I am on reloading equipment, what the hell is another $355....LOL

None!!
Propane tank, Mapp Gas cause it burns hotter, (less time in the flame), Cordless drill, deep socket stuffed with steel wool so the case sticks out the amount I want.
No big $$$$ investment in gear that doesn't get used that much, just sits on the bench looking good.
And when I'am done annealing, I've still got a Propane torch and a cordless drill to use when I need it.

Kinda like getting a Bore Scope. You're shooting bug holes so why go looking for something wrong?? You look down the barrel, you see it's JUNK but still shoots one holers and you want to change it? IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!!

AMP Aztec
These are really the ONLY machines to consider...
I up graded my first production run machine with the Aztec program and now I need only loose one case rather then send 6ps to AMP to get the correct setting.
Has made the machine quieter and faster too.
The newer machines come with the AZTEC system built in from the factory... For a bit of interest go to AMP's website and watch the video of one of their machines being built... The audio is good too so turn up the sound... Watching that video should get you over the line about buying one of these machines and if you are in a club perhaps they might consider buying one for the member's use... They will do cases from 17cal to
50-BMG. All you need is the right collets for your cartridge and away you go.
NO guess work, No flames, Perfectly annealed @ time meaning neck tension is right @ and every load and shot.... I suggest that the brass be wet SS cleaned prior to annealing to keep any powder residue or dirt out of the machine.
