What annealing machines are you all using ?

I have an Annealeez and like it a lot. However, the one disadvantage I see with all the flame machines is the need to retune them for each run because you can never get the flame set exactly the same way this month as last. With a salt bath or induction machine, the process should be repeatable. If the thermometer says 750º it should take exactly the same amount of time as it did the previous run. If the ammeter reads the same, it should be the same as last batch. This should make these processes better for small batches.

If anyone knows of any tricks to get repeatability out of a propane torch, please let me know.

I would love to have the AMP, but I bought the Annealeez 2.0 11/2 years ago and I am very happy with it. I thought about converting it over to Map gas, but I have a large supply of the little Colman propane bottles. A better idea would be to hook it up to a large size propane tank (grill size) with a regulator. That would give you better flame control at the tip. Just an idea.

Can't quite see how the chute causes the base to go first.
There's a sheet metal screw sticking up that hits the shoulder.
It is filmed with a potato, which makes videos impossible to watch. I don't know anyone who's monitor is mounted vertically.

AMP MK II. The machine that can do it all. Name another machine that can analyze your brass and anneal it perfectly every time. The Kurt Henning of annealing machines.
