Another Milestone -- 55,000 Members (and growing)

If even 1% of those 7 million new gun owners show up, or even .01 percent of existing gun owners, you are going be overrun. Might need to start recruiting volunteer moderators. Get some of these old bastards to help you out.

As far as most the guys on here, I have more respect for some of them than some of my own family members and that’s not saying anything bad about my family members either. Simply put, it’s a great little gathering of members willing to share their knowledge and hard lessons learned to help others avoid their mistakes. Golden in my book...

Pretty much any Amazon link provided by Boss on the site, also by accessing Amazon through the link in the ad banners on the site, for anything else you may need.
 
How about a platinum membership? Gold or silver can upgrade to it and figure out some little perk for it like special exclusive deals from a sponsor or something on occasion. I know everyone’s budget is different and I totally respect that but I would definitely do it.

Since it was my idea I get the first one :cool:

I believe it is time to create a new level of support here. I am as of now, proposing a "Platinum" level to recognize the effort needed to keep this forum running. The Moderator has to put up with a lot, and I am guilty of the occasional off-topic post. Rich

3-1/2%'s better than just 1% I guess.

Glad the membership's growing too. (Let's hope the other 96-1/2% see the light, kick in a little to show their support.)

Good point - I guess it depends on how one defines "Active". I'm sure Forum Boss has all the site analytics/telemetry data.
 
Maybe instead of Platinum make a bronze level for $10 a year? That could generate a lot of money even if only a percentage of the 53,044 paid up.......my $.002 worth
 
Nice job Forumbossman, you are to be commended. And we really appreciate the work you do. Now that most of the gun and supply stores are near empty, perhaps more shooters will be hanging out here - and we can help convince them to donate to the site.
 
Regarding a "Bronze" Membership:

I do not want to give full classifieds access to someone for $10 a year, so it's not certain what Bronze benefits could be... Perhaps access to discount programs along with Gold and Silver?

Regarding our Upgrade Fees. Sell one $1500 item on Gunbroker and the fees are $58.75. That's for a single $1500.00 sale.

For a single $500.00 sale, Gunbroker fees are $23.75.
