Just purchased 2000 from them(Cutting Edge). Waiting patiently for them to arrive. Comes with new primed cases. Cant wait to see your results . Have a V22 on order , hope it comes in soon .Cutting edge bullets had something similar a few years ago and I haven't heard about it since. Very cool idea
When you get everything together I am very interested in how it goes.Just purchased 2000 from them(Cutting Edge). Waiting patiently for them to arrive. Comes with new primed cases. Cant wait to see your results . Have a V22 on order , hope it comes in soon .
The bullet they have up for preorder right now isn’t really in the same league as my bullet ballistics wise.Just purchased 2000 from them(Cutting Edge). Waiting patiently for them to arrive. Comes with new primed cases. Cant wait to see your results . Have a V22 on order , hope it comes in soon .
They did not say.The bullet they have up for preorder right now isn’t really in the same league as my bullet ballistics wise.
Did they tell you what brass it’s coming with? Looks like cci from the pictures they posted but I haven’t heard any confirmation
I always find innovation and approaches interesting, not only for the topic of development but also applicability to other interests.Been a "few years back" but, there was a guy in the Indiana (?) area (maybe machinist/tool and die maker?) that was pulling 22 RF bullets, resizing cases to accept a 20 caliber CF bullet. He had made his own seater and resizing dies. Thought how cool is that! Think some of us on Rimfire Central tracked him down but it never went any further than that. Dies and seater were available for sale.
Still loved the idea.
Bill Eichelberger had a series of 22 rimfire based cartridges, 12-17 caliber. Not a rimfire thoughSeem to me like a reduced .223 with a couple grains of pistol powder would be a loot less hassle. People have successfully reproduced CCI quiet performance in center fire 223.
That's funny... I did a totally reloadabe, 5.7 ×28mm necked to 6mm with 105 to 115 grain subs and machined a tiny belt on it....for a guy who hates belted magnums...I called it the 6mm Peacock Belted magnum, super sub, based on the 5.7 X 28 mm case ... cute ...practical? A 115 gr 6mm sub at 1000 fps in a fast twist.View attachment 1205770 So I want to do more with a 22lr than most consider possible. Had my friends at Badlands Precision make me a bullet and used a 1-5.75 Bartlein barrel from @FrankG . Should have these in hand by the end of the week if the post office does their job and be testing by the middle of the month View attachment 1205769
