Tom do you shoot those round robin or what is your shot sequence?
I'm betting I'm this most ignert person tracking this thread, but what are you looking for in shooting these tests? Least vertical??
Maybe i missed this somewhere' a question what is the difference between Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 ?@Link
I shot even numbers for you today at my 871 yard spot. 8 above zero this morning. Anyone need 1,000 lapua 6br brass? Lol

Tom
Thanks for asking Tim. I am wondering the same thing, especially since Alpha 2 seemed to shoot out the top at 30 and what looked like the velocity node or close to it on the other loads.Maybe i missed this somewhere' a question what is the difference between Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 ?
Which is which?Different flash hole sizes
They have tooling for 60 and 80, but testing to know whats best has just started.
Yes I can clearly see that, my question is directed towards why? From Tom's post (#122) the Alpha 1 has less vertical than 2
and the groups are overlapping more.
The testing is far more thorough than just those 2 sizes. We are working with Alpha on this. They are supplying me brass, Im drilling and reaming the flash holes, Tom is testing. We'll end up on what ever is best. I did not expect the results we are seeing so far. Alpha will release all the data once its done, but so far I think this is going to result in one more step forward in the accuracy game.Yes I can clearly see that, my question is directed towards why?
If its the flash hole size than which one is Alpha2 .060 or .080 ?
Just curious
