So, how did you turn the primer pocket uniformed down?I guess many would call anal, but if primer pocket depth didn't matter I wouldn't be worried about it... The ones that are deeper should cure themselves after firing. ...... jim

What it comes down to in the progress of accuracy is those who desire the best over profit. Alpha brass gives me the impression they have a true desire to make the best. I choose actions, barrels, scopes, stocks, exc for the same reason. Im not saying anything is perfect but I like working with people with similar interests.
Edit: So many are quick to complain or cut down. Nothing happens overnight, it takes work. Usually by those who are doing it by honest motives.
@tom so so far you’re liking this brass? About to order reamer from JGS. This is my first go around at anything 6BRA
No Jim, it wasn't directed at you at all. It was a general statement, more so about the flash hole size. No worries.I don't understand what that has to do with a smaller diameter primer pocket? I'm not bashing them at all, intact I even said how good it was but it sure sounds like you are condemning me for bringing it to light? I didn't want to enlarge the diameter so I made a tool smaller to uniform the the depth...... jim
I see Bart is testing with nothing bad to say so far. My idea for it was save on components by eliminating the fire forming and the extra work. I did find that in turning the necks to .0112 they don't clean up a 100% and it does feel different when I turn them, like gritty compared to Lapua. They turned nice, and I like the tight feel seating the primers over the inconsistent feel of Lapua....... jimNo Jim, it wasn't directed at you at all. What's the trick to getting a yellow Sharpie to show on paper ?
I would test a larger range than normal in a first test but not more shots as I was avoiding heat. So enlarge the increments without risking missing a node. Then do fine tests. Some times it would give me two spots to re-test.
