NRA Restructuring and Moving to Texas

How long will WLP last around DJT. It would be nice if the NRA went from a few million to 75 million in a short time. Talking about building muscle in a hurry. Just how many gunowners would join the NRA overnight if DJT takes the helm. Been a life member for awhile and would be glad to do whatever it would take.

you sound an alful lot like a left wing nut-job
Many of us sat in the Eagle's Nest at the Whitington Center after Day 1 of our National Championship and listened to the NRA Competitions Director tell us how they wouldn't benefit if Obama didn't win the next election. That the NRA wouldn't get near the support if he didn't, and that they depended on that money.
So that doesn't sound very nutty to me at all.

For me this would be a dream come true. The member would swell like crazy.

My initial reaction to any suggestion is DJT running the NRA was a complete cringe.

Upon thinking about it that might be exactly what's needed. I often fall into the moderate category so his inability to keep his mouth closed seriously grates on me.

With that said, for the coming 2A fights we're going to need someone like him to take the gloves off and fight how the lefties do, ruthless. We simply can't keep doing the same things that merely hold them off, it's not an option any more. We need to scare them like they try to scare everyone.

From what I understand is the NRA will not align themselves with any other pro 2A organizations. They act like they are the only pro 2A organization that counts.

So would somebody kindly explain something to me.....moving to Texas isn't going to do chit to stop any ongoing investigations on behalf of the state of new york. That boat didn't just sail, hell it's waaaaay out of sight.
All I see is a hopeful ploy to get more pro-gun support and maybe create some inconvenience for investigators wishing to "physically" lay hands on financial documents.
And for the record, they could move across the street and I wouldn't join their sorry asses. There are way better ways they could have been proactive in days gone by. As a proud gun owner/exlaw officer, they have been an embarrassment more that once.

Personally, I would like to know just exactly how much Wayne has been compensated, and what expenses and perks he has been given, along with any retirement, and provision for a golden parachute. Also, how much NRA money has been spent to keep himself in his position? From what I have heard, this has gotten entirely out of hand.
I saw a while ago its in the 1 million range.

I have been an NRA Patron Life Member for years and live in New York State and for my money with the NRA being in New York they gave us the Unsafe act! That to me should have been squashed the day it came out from the cover of darkness. The only way they would get another cent from me is if Donald J. Trump and his Two Boys took it over. Why is it always the law abiding gun owner that suffer and not the criminals?
I say Hang everyone of the criminals! That may help put a stop to this crap.

When I see WLP laying on his stomach regularly shooting FClass, ...oh Heck...sitting on his Azz on a stool shooting BR, regularly, THEN i might consider buying a discounted $25 membership again.

Right ideas, WRONG people

That’s my idea of it too. He looks like a damn lobbyist attorney, but I do realize that is the major part of the NRA.

Wow............bashing the NRA on a gun forum. Who would have ever thought.
They stole the election and I got to believe most of this bad publicity comes
from anti second amendment people to separate the people from the
most effective second amendment advocate.

I wish everyone couldn't keep their mouths shut. Then you would know who they really are. I don't understand the allure to highly polished liars.

I personally know two lawyers working for the NRA-ILA and have have seen a number of their legislative successes at the federal level. They're good people who are definitely on our side. I also support the idea of replacing Wayne and his minions.

Overall, I will continue to support the NRA through this rough patch and during their good times because I believe they're an overall positive impact for our rights. IMO, we need every win we can get, especially during times when we've lost all 3 houses.

Being in New York did not cause the problems nor start the ridiculous scare tactics on their endless mailings.
Leaving New York will not solve their problems.
