Gunslick Bore Foam Still FS?

Does anyone know what happened to gunslick foaming bore cleaner... Seems they stopped making it... Is it now under another name..??? I see hoppes foaming bore cleaner on store shelves all of a sudden taking its place..

The good news about the Hopps product is that it looks like they retained the original Gunslick can and tube. This allows me to use the cartridge brass I modified to fit on the end of the tube.

Hey Texas , does the hoppes stuff work as good as the gunslick..??? I can get it local... I loved the gunslick stuff especially for pistol barrels and it removed copper well...

I'm still working on the cans I purchased 6 months ago. Remains to be seen if the Hoppes is as good.

I only use it to remove copper, and it does a fairly good job. I use CLR and Ed's Red on my lapped barrels to get the carbon and fouling out.

Not sure what happened to the title of this thread...???? lol... Why is it EVERYTIME I find something I like it disappears... Uhgggg

The foam is more of an orange color, whereas the Gunslick brand was pure white. The Hoppe's version also smells like it has nitro bore solvent added to it. I used the Gunslick foam for years. I bought two cans of the new Hoppes version. It still seems to clean out the powder fouling and copper, but I have changed my cleaning regimen over the last two years to include a borescope, a bronze brush, and Boretech carbon removal products.

The foam is still my 'go to' first stage cleaner though.
