Or, how about this; they were thinking about placing the guns in question under the NFA. This would in effect enter them into a different class of firearm, separate from your average everyday guns which they like to call assault weapons.

If the democrats fancy regulating a broader class of guns including but not limited to brace equipped pistols, it would be easier to do so with a single executive order or piece of legislation (depending on whether they gain control of the Senate or not). So maybe the incoming administration told them “Hold up, we got a better plan to implement.”

Don't relax on this one. Eternal vigilance.

I have not yet officially joined, but if things continue as they are during the next month............I will certainly join. Both organizations are somewhat tied together. They cooperate with each other to a degree as I understand it.

Certainly not trying to discourage anyone but I attended a seminar for LEO's locally here, approximately 5 or 6 years ago. One of the topics was dangerous groups to be aware of. The instructor specifically talked about the Three Percenters and had their logo up on the screen, saying If you see this anywhere, a sticker on a car, a t-shirt etc., in your communities, be on high alert. These are the Sovereign Citizens and they have ambushed and killed officers. He described them as dangerous, dangerous people who have a twisted moral code and a hatred for pretty much anyone not like them, and especially cops.

I'm not saying this assessment is anywhere near close to the truth. All I'm saying is beware of what you may be bringing upon yourself when you put that sticker on your car...just be aware that's all

I have been notified by GOA that BATFE has, after a mountain of opposition, withdrawn their proposal on pistol braces.
While we can take it as a win I feel very confident we will see it again soon. Most likely they are withdrawing in order to allow Joe & The Ho to sign off an EO doing the dirty deed. That way BATFE can say it isn't on them.

I guess I wasn't clear in what I was trying to say. My mistake, I was trying to keep it short.

I do not believe the Three Percenters are a bad group. Quite the contrary, I think they are good people. Not that I'm informed really on any of this but I think they are very different from the Sovereign Citizen movement. What I was trying to convey is that some sources are telling Law Enforcement that the Three Percenters are very bad people, equating them with other groups so it may be that someone who is a member or supporter may find themselves receiving a whole bunch of trouble from misinformed cops expecting to find machine guns and bombs in your car.

I cannot provide any documentation for what I said about cops being informed that they are dangerous, it just a guy putting information on a projector and talking, there was no class material handed out or anything. It was their emblem or logo on the screen and the guy saying if you see this, watch out, bad people. Along the lines of what cops hear about Dirt and Grime, Mongols, MS13, and so on.

I did not mean to speak badly about the organization. I probably should just not have said anything. I guess, by all means join them but keep a low profile.

Not a problem..........I want to hear the good and the bad about anything. THEN I CAN MAKE MY OWN INFORMED DECISION.

It sounds a bit like disinformation to me. This happens a lot in the political world nowadays. Project your enemies in union with well know bad guys. It causes prejudice on the part of those who then see or encounter it.

As many of you know I am a retired San Antonio PD officer. Sovereign Citizen groups are dangerous. Just talk to them and you can tell they aint quite right. That being said I agree with what they are saying for the most part. III Percenters are no harm at all to LEO's... Some police officers are III Percenters.. Who ever put on that briefing saying they are dangerous, did not know shit and has never left their office.. Bet if that guy saw a John Deere sticker on a vehicle from Mexico he would not think twice about it... (One of the drug cartels uses the "Nothing run like a Deere" sticker to mark some of their vehicles.. Running drugs, guns and money.)

Yeah, even though at the time I was only peripherally aware of the 3%ers, I knew some cops were 3%ers, in fact at the time thought it was an organization of LEOs, and I thought man this guy is really out of touch.
