I've tried the 6.5 Staball powder without any luck. Anyone using it in an AR 10 6.5 creedmoor?

Not a 6.5 creedmoor but I'm "in process" with staball 6.5 with a AR 10 in 7-08. I'm shooting the 180 JLK VLD with a 22" 1-8 twist. I needed a slow powder that was dense enough to make the most of available case capacity. Much like the Creedmoor.
My feeling is Staball is a bit slow for the AR action.
Adjustable gas system is your friend.
A little dirty.
More testing is in the works for me with Staball. Seems OK so far.
Try heavies. I think you'll find a load you like.
