There are really only a few "trusted" ones>>>>the 180 Hybrid, 184 Hybrid and 180 Scenar. Then I hear GREAT things from some excellent shooters about the new 190 A-Tip. However, from MY perspective, the Berger 180 Hybrid sits at the pinnacle of ALL 7mm lists..

I’ve had great results with the 180 scenar. I couldn’t get the 184 Berger to shoot in my current barrel. I had an amazing test with the 184 Matrix. Lately though, I mostly shoot the 180 Berger because of availability.

Depends on the cartridge, and velocity goals.
I'm looking at building a 7mm-08AI.
My criteria of 2,800 fps without stressing the casing too much leads me towards the 160gr Sierra TMK.

Others will obviously disagree with my choice, but i don't own a Chevy or Ford either.

Another vote for the 180 hybrid. The Berger 190 looked promising but couldn’t get it to shoot as consistent as the 180.

If you have to ask... Start with the 180 hybrid. All the others will shoot, at a varying rate of success, but the 180 is the easy button.

Berger 180 Hybrid - high quality product, High level of consistency bullet-to-bullet at all critical data points. Never had a problem with Berger 180 Hybrids. Great performance. Reliable.
