Is H4350 gone forever?

nope the laws of greed backstabbing and monopolies
And a Fed Reserve that prints paper money like it's going out of style....

US minimum wage in 1968 was $1.60.

"Inflation" pegs that 'buying power' in today's dollars at $11.97 so today's $7.25 was worth $.97 back then.

See where we're headed?

H4350 has been one of the easier powders to get, it doesn’t last long but I’ve seen it in stock at several sources the last couple of months.

I have an open 1 pound can I got from Grampa. It seems to be a long cut grain. It is one clump in the bottom of the can. Prolly won’t measure well.
Hodgdon (ADI)powder has a tendency to clump. I've had Retumbo and H1000 8lb jugs turn into a seemingly solid clump, I shook the jug and broke it up. Shot great.

Was at the local gun store last week. They had at least 6 1 lb containers of H4350. I picked one up for load developement in my 6 CM.

I've been researching powders for my 6.5CM, and the one that seems to always be at the top of the list is H4350. Only problem is that I am starting to see what everyone has been talking about regarding availability. If this powder is so great, and the demand is so high, why isn't Hodgdon making more of it?

I would swear that I have seen 8-lb containers of this stuff somewhere, but I can't for the life of me remember where. Is it really so scarce that I should buy every last lb that I can find, and then sell it on ebay for my retirement?
If I’m not mistaken you can back order H4350 from Graf&son.

My LGS has 6 1 pounders of Retumbo. They've been there for a few weeks. I traded 4 pounds Retumbo for 4 pounds of IMR3031 a couple of weeks ago.
I sure wish I could find some that could be shipped, I have lots of stuff I could trade if someone was close enough but this area is wiped clean.
