USPS-Priority Mail

I am 10 days to two weeks out on late delivery of 3 packages, Priority mail. UPS is getting packages here without delay. Are any of you experiencing the same late delivery of Priority mail packages?

Yes Sir. 10 to 14 days is about normal for the USPS now a days even Priority Mail.

I received a Christmas card on the 19th that was postmarked on the 11th and it’s point of origin was 30 miles from its destination.

You have no idea. It’s bad. I have stuff in transit from November 30th. It is moving, but very very slow

Depends where I am shipping to. Seems like some consolidation hubs are slower than others.'

Still waiting on package from Indiana mailed on Dec. 4th. Tracking stopped on the 8th.

Appears to be averaging 3 - 6 days at every distribution hub. The ones I've experienced are Kansas City, KS and Phoenix, AZ. Kansas City was only 3 days, a package shipped from Scottsdale, AZ took 6 days in the Phoenix USPS hub and one additional day to 90 miles up to Chino Valley, AZ.

Priority these days means next month. That's alright though, it all comes out in the wash. Be happy.

Yes all mine that I shipped USPS priority are late, 14 days in the same facility, this is a great example of a government ran service compared to a private ran service

Yes. Bought a scope and it was shipped Priority on Nov. 28. Went one stop to somewhere in KY and is still there with no updates. They said they were under staffed at this facility and it is not lost it is just running late. Doesn’t make me feel any better.

Mail is just a mess right now. I have a few (several)thousand dollars worth of tuners scattered around the country, running way late. I believe they'll eventually get where they're going but it's enough to make me nervous.

My wife ordered a Christmas gift from a company 50+/- miles our house in NJ. 3 days later the tracking showed it in Honolulu Hawaii. Arrived here 6 days later, so 9+/- days, 50 miles from as the crow flies, maybe 12,000 miles as USPS flies but arrived in time for Christmas.

Ha ha ha.. Where I live a letter addressed to my next door neighbor goes 200 miles away to a distribution center and then back.

I guess I can’t complain one of my packages keeps moving along pretty good, Oklahoma City, Denver, Oklahoma City, Billings. Currently on its way back to Denver.

I think if they can manage to get it over the divide my customer might just make it home for Christmas. 2021

I have noticed a slow down on delivery, but then again it occurs every year around this Xmas packaging time. so I just sit back and allow the Postal and other companies more time, as I know they are being swamped with packages and deliveries.

15 days for 2 day priority shipping for custom rifle build delivery. Was sweating bullets. Package was way underinsured. Couldn’t get in touch with an actual human calling any numbers. Finally 10 days into it I actually got in touch with a lady told me they didn’t have any idea where package was. Signed up for email ETA notifications, left voice mails, and signed up for text updates. Heard nothing until text notification package was out for delivery by 1:15 pm. Received text at 1:15 PM that new time was 3:15 PM. Received text at 3:15 pm new time was 5:45 pm. At 5:15 PM receive text that package was delivered and left with individual. I had been waiting in the front yard in the swing all day. I went ballistic but couldn’t reach a human with the Post Office when 30 minutes lady the post lady drove up with package. Total lack of communication and inaccurate information.
