give shipmygun.com a tryI don't guess they are any cheaper?
10 to 14 days is beginning to look like the norm for the USPS.I'm waiting on a chassis that someone shipped USPS Priority 10 days ago. No updates in the tracking info for the past 9 day.
I had a rifle shipped from my FFL to a buyer. Sent out a week ago. No updates in tracking since last Thursday.
USPS is not the way to go right now.

I just did a click n ship USPS priority long gun today. Laid it on the counter and they took it without hesitation. Label is addressed to a Rifle and Pistol club. They won't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out what's in the box. We'll see how it goes.I recently went to my local USPS and the lady there refused to ship my gun to Kelblys priority. Said it had to be express. Total 140. No convincing her that I had shipped priority before. She pulled a book out and started reading to me. So, I just took imy gun and left. FedEx is now at Dollar General but they had already picked up and would not keep it in the store over night. I drove the extra 30 minutes and went to the closest Fedex Store. Lady at the counter states “that’s a bow right!” I looked at her and smiled. She took the gun case. 65 bucks with insurance. Will not be going back to USPS to ship a gun.
I have had EXACTLY the same scenario happen to me -Twice.My wife had some meds shipped overnight UPS w/ signature required. I found a ‘Sorry we missed you’ post-it on our mailbox and the meds inside. We were both at home all day.
Perfectly within the USPS regulations for individuals to ship rifles/shotguns via any USPS service (Priority, Express or even Parcel) as long as GCA'68 laws are complied with. When I need to ship a handgun it's easy to take it to my FFL holder friend and have him ship it USPS Priority, not to mention it is a helluva lot cheaper.I just did a click n ship USPS priority long gun today. Recently had an FFL ship a handgun I sold via UPS to the receiving FFL. Thought I read somewhere that handguns couldn't be shipped USPS?
