Most accurate 6.5 creedmoor rifle

Nice group. I was fishing for tight one. Saving your load.

24" Varmint Criterion 8 twister. 42 grains of R-16 and WLR
primer. Bipod and squeeze bag. Bushnell 4.5-30 XRS.....
I was testing R-23 the same day with dismal results. I have not
been able to replicate that .229 group but staying under 1/2
MOA in fair conditions is common. I'll also note, the best accuracy
was with the 140 RDF. Never tried the BR2 primer with this load
seating depth was at my start testing depth.....Always .015 off
lands.

I have a long Brux sitting in the vault for a Max Creedmoor
project but the further I get into my SA284 project, this
barrel may be used for another Wild cat. I might just name it
the "6.5 Greed More"

No.. it’s good fun picking on the bleedmoor boys. Y’all get butt hurt and defensive about it and it’s funny as hell, sorry you bought into the marketing craze. For some reason everyone of you seem to have to defend it too. 6GT next in your list? Lofl.
@wi50shooter Just like SOCOM? The 6.5 Creedmoor is here to stay, deal with it.

Whats the budget for the rifle? What about the glass and mounts? Whats the end use?
Walmart special complete with a 3-9x with a duplex off the shelf? Or 30 minutes on the phone with the fine people at Cooper or Borden or Nesika?
As much fun as these 6.5CM threads are they do tend to go on for days and days.

I have a Ruger american preditor 6.5 CM I won at a NRA banquet.
Put it In a Magpul hunter stock.
Put a Kahles 624I scope on it with arc rings .
100 yard 3 shot target below.
A slow load.
Never was a Ruger fan but this one shoots.
I could buy 4 rifles for the cost of the scope i used on it.
Took the scope off another rifle to test out the Ruger.
I have three 6.5 Creedmoor rifles.
I have a older Remington 700 action( 90's vintage) with a Keiger 26" barrel in a Mccrees chassis.
Then first 9 rounds I ever shot thru the new barrel I Loaded Berger 140's with 9 different charge weights, all 9 shot into a group about .800", 1 hole at 100 yards.
Right there I knew It was going to be a very easy cartridge to load for.
Got a antelope and 3 mule deer with a Savage 6.5 creedmoor, using Berger 130 and 140 g bullets.

This is a thread that should never have gone anywhere. Why feed the pigeons?

As to the use of the terms "haters" and "hate", people inclined to such simpleton-speak should grow up and understand that words mean things, and that bastardizing words -- whether adopted by poorly-educated pro athletes or whomever passes for pop culture leaders these days -- leads to dilution of the English language. If you dislike something, or criticize something, then that is a far cry from "hate". Simpleton-speak doesn't bode well for your future. Or the future of the USA and humanity in general. Grow up. Talk like an adult, or, if you cannot, then please be quiet.

This is generally an erudite forum; I'd like to keep it that way.

Do you have a pic of the rifle? My brother has the predator in 6.5 Grendel and it shoots extremely well. Not are good as yours but 5 shot groups hovering right at an inch with Hornady 123 SST.

Rifle and scope used on the Ruger is mounted on the Remington action now.

Ditto the Savage LRP with the HS stock.
very accurate. A friend of mine has one and it shoots very close to my custom build at about 1/3 the cost. Spend your extra money on the optics

I am not a BR or PRC shooter. Last time I competed was in 2000, in service rifle. I just like to shoot - all calibers. Just tested some hunting loads in my Tika .308. 19” barrel is one you want to hang on to. Not a bench gun. That’s why I enjoy my RPR in 6.5CM. The attached photo is the first load I ever did for this caliber. Seated to Hornady’s recommended depth. A little slow, mean on the chrono was 2757. I was invited down to TN to shoot BR before COVID. They recommended I shoot .223 in the .22 class and not 6.5CM in the .30 cal class. Not because of dislike for the CM but because it makes smaller holes. COVID kept me from making the trip.

Is this a question? Question? To ask a question. I would like to see proper punctuation please.
Now if you will excuse me, I'm in search of the highest quality and most accurate 6.5 Creedmoor rifle produced.
