I had a CZ 527 Varmint model in 204 Ruger and it shot the factory Hornady 32gr Superformance ammo very well.No experience with either, Tikka or CZ in a 204? Truck, tractor rifle. Thanks, Scott

Got it. But knowing all that a Tikka is a better option for the money IMO. I just picked a brand new tikka T3 up a few months back for $575 after dealer fees. That’s hard to beat.I heard and read about all the magazine issues after I had played with mine quite a bit.
I have one in a Oryx chassis that uses factory mags. Another in a Boyd’s stock with DIP bottom metal. And yet another in a B&C sporter stock with after market bottom metal with a pop open floor plate.
Factory rigs, open the action with the bolt back and they will latch fine.
Yeah I have tossed some money at them, but I got what I wanted and am still under the price of a CZ 527. I am probably the only guy that dislikes the 527’s.
