The Urbanrifleman Prefit Barrel Has Finally Arrived

urban rifleman is getting a little grief from guys that think you have to pay $700 for a barrel. they hate to see a $200 barrel shoot so good. I have said for a long time high end barrel makers rob their customers.
.01% of shooters compete in inter-galactical bench rest that need a barrel that costs 4 times as much to shave .02 off the group.. I wish you well you are providing a quality product for a good price

Intergalactical benchrest... hahahaha

My top 5 shot group from this morningspractice with my 6bra prefit in my Elisio Chassis. Tubb bipod and squeeze bag prone. Horrible mirage and wind too.

I buy Campbell’s soup bc it tastes a little bit better even though I’m paying mostly for the brand. I buy bat actions not bc they are more accurate but bc I like to have the “best”. To each their own. Having said that I still plan on buying a barrel or two from urban rifleman bc I like a bargain and I like supporting like minded people.

I think there is room in the market for both. I mean, if a person is not convinced that they will shoot with other barrels, there is always varmints.

My main practice rifle has my prefit in it. It really does shoot. Just sayin...

I’m sure it does. I’m glad to see you selling prefits.

any man can buy what ever he wants. some people do not have the money to go high end and these barrels offer a guy like that very accurate rifle and gets him in the sport

I hope that other smiths, that have a more elite clients, will realize exactly what you said.

You can build a benchrest/F class rifle from my store:

$499 High Gloss 3 inch benchrest stock with aluminum bedding block
$235 Barrel (6br, 6bra, 6xc, 223, 223a)
$34 Barrel Nut
$32 Recoil Lug
$50 Picatinny rail (approx-there are lots of options)
$69 Bat Trigger Guard and Action Screws

THAT IS $919 in parts.

Add the current going rate for a Remington 700 single shot which is $390

That is $1309 plus shipping for a COMPLETE READY TO SHOOT RIFLE that you can assemble in an evening. That still leaves you room to buy a scope and trigger.

As far as whether a bone stock Remington will work. Here is a customer rifle. The action is BONE STOCK. He did the barrel in 30 br using all of my parts and stock.

Here is the 2nd group fired from the rifle in heavy mirage with old ammo. Five shots with a called flier.Screenshot_20201019-113927_Messages.jpgimagejpeg_0(1).jpg

it is amazing in this day and age of looters liars thieves and back stabbers that you are offering a top notch service where any shlub can get into the game. I hope your business starts booming for you

Are your 6XC reamers for 6XC1 or 6XC2?

Good luck on your endeavor. I hope you sell a bunch and start doing savages also.

Testing the 6xc 100 freebore prefit with 108 Bergers. I am not familiar with this cartridge like the 6bra, but it was starting to get there at 39 grains of R16. I am thinking the best node is a bit higher. Mirage was INSANE today!! It looked ideal, but it was a swamp...Screenshot_20201021-140724_Gallery.jpg
