It finally arrived

WOW, UPS finally dropped off my new 7mm Bartlein 30" 1.350 dia barrel that was ordered in Feburary.
Now to get my 7mmsaum Ackley reamer digging around in it, and a Harrells brake stuck on the other end, and then groundhogs beware !!!!
It's going on my 3L BAT action as a switch barrel and is my first Bartlein barrel, I hope it shoots as good as my Pac-Nors have....
If it won't shoot I can use it for a axel in my Dually....
The photo was taking with the new Canon A550 this site talked me into buying, as if I needed another digital camera, but this one sure does it up good....

Bruce Do you do your own work? I'm waiting on 3rd cutting to come off here where I do most hunting. Have 1 field still waiting for 1st cutting...

Nice, sharp macro image.

When you have time to look through the camera manual check into the special presets for image sharpening and saturation. Very nice, little known features. If you have a decent sized memory card, start taking videos. It's very simple--set the default frame size,in pixels), spin the function ring to the movie camera icon, and push the shutter release,once) to start movie. When you're done, push the shutter release a second time to stop the movie. The video function needs a lot of light, and you need to hold the camera steady, but I think you'll be very pleased with the results.

Yes I do my own work, I have been for years even though MS slows me down a little.
Most of the hay around here still has not been cut the second time yet, but I'm patiently waiting......

You really need to check that camera out if your looking for a good one. I have a half dozen different digital cameras floating around here and this is by far the best of any with the exception of my bigger 8400 Nikon,$800.00) but this A550 will sure give it a run for it's money for the small sum of $130.00.........
It's also the best one I have for shooting in dim light with excellent results, all the others including the big Nikon are really slow and usually end up with a blur warning because of it, but not this one......
Circuit City has a deal for $35.00 more they will include a 2GIG Ultra SD card and a Red camera case. That card is smoking fast......

The video aspect is very nice too, and works very well with a 2 GIG card but I do most all that on my Canon GL-2...
